Starting from small beginnings in 2013, a group of local cider enthusiasts has met to brew, taste and sell Old Hoody cider, delicious craft cider made exclusively from apples grown in and around Chorleywood. Club events take place regularly, often at the Black Horse pub on Dog Kennel Lane, and Old Hoody cider is sold at a range of local events such as Ricky Canal Festival, Chorleywood Village Day, Apple Day and Chorleywood Christmas Festival. All proceeds from cider sales support the work of Chorleywood Community Orchard.
