The Orchard has charitable status and relies on donations and the money we raise. The CCO Committee has a duty to ensure that it thrives so that it can be enjoyed by the community. This means nurturing damaged trees, replacing dead trees, buying tree stakes, cages, watering equipment, tree nutrients, mowing equipment & processing the fruits.

Whilst the income from product sales is very helpful, making enough money for maintenance of the Orchard cannot be guaranteed in future years. We would therefore like you to consider becoming a Friend of Chorleywood Community Orchard with a suggested minimum donation of £20 per annum.

As a Friend of Chorleywood Community Orchard, you will be informed of any fun events held on the Orchard. Over the years these have included Apple Days, Blossom Days, Spring Festivals and of course Wassailing. You will also be invited to other community events where we sell the products we make from our own and other local orchards. You will also be able to get involved with making the products we sell and be invited to our regular Orchard work parties, although your attendance is not obligatory.

If you would like to become a friend of Chorleywood Community Orchard please download and complete this attached form and send us a copy.
